Full-Time Permanent Front-of-House Team Member

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic, friendly and hardworking front-of-house team members to join the team at The Winking Prawn, a busy and welcoming beach café and restaurant overlooking North Sands.

You will be one of the main faces of the business, creating a warm and memorable experience for every customer. The role is varied and fast-paced, covering everything from welcoming guests and taking orders to serving food and drinks and keeping the restaurant and outdoor areas clean and presentable.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a friendly and positive attitude.
• Provide excellent customer service throughout each guest’s visit.
• Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
• Serve food, drinks, coffees, cakes and ice creams.
• Explain menu items and answer questions about dishes, including dietary requirements and allergens.
• Work closely with the kitchen and other members of the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service.
• Work as a positive and supportive member of the team.
