We’re recruiting a Meeting Centre Coordinator to lead the day-to-day running of this new, welcoming space for people living with dementia and their families. The role involves planning and delivering therapeutic and social activities, supporting volunteers, building strong relationships with carers, and developing meaningful links with local schools and organisations through intergenerational work.
This is a rewarding, hands-on role with the opportunity to build something new and be part of NeST’s growing, supportive team from the very beginning.
Key details:
  • Location: Tumbly Hill Health & Wellbeing Hub, Kingsbridge
  • Hours: Initially part-time, 17.5 hours per week (0.5 FTE) with potential to increase
  • Contract: Fixed term to April 2027 (National Lottery funded)
  • Salary: £23,660 per annum, pro rata
We’re looking for someone who:
  • Has at least a Level 3 qualification in dementia care, adult health & social care, or mental health support
  • Brings two years’ experience supporting people living with dementia or similar needs
  • Understands person-centred and strengths-based approaches
  • Is confident working with volunteers, families, and community partners
  • Can plan and deliver meaningful group activities with warmth and creativity
You’ll be supported by a values-led team committed to inclusion, self-reflection, and wellbeing – not just for the people we support, but for our staff and volunteers too.
