Our mission is to ensure adults living with learning differences, disability or autism, feel enabled to live an enriched and enjoyable life in Kingsbridge and the surrounding are.

Do you have a unique skill or talent that you would like to share by running an activity? Perhaps you are a local business or organisation that already runs activities and would like to open this up to people with a learning disability?

We offer funding to local businesses wanting to offer activities and work experience to those with learning differences. 

We would love to expand our range of activities we sponsor and would always welcome new ideas.

As an activity leader, it would be preferable if you had experience working with adults with a learning disability, difficulty or autism, however this isn’t an essential requirement. What we do ask, is that you are appropriately insured and that you must undertake a risk assessment.

As a charity, we believe that neurological differences should not be stigmatised, but recognise and respected as any other human variation. We want to create a world where disability is overcome by positive activity.

Cliff House is a much loved community venue at the very heart of life in Salcombe and has been a treasured part of the community since it was placed in trust in 1921.
Cliff House has hosted decades of plays, parties, pantomimes, dances, dinners, meetings, celebrations, exhibitions and weddings.
The idyllic waterside location is the perfect setting for weddings and we are licenced to perform civil ceremonies for up to 200 guests in a choice of two function rooms and the reception can be held in our elegant Assembly Room with a stunning terrace overlooking the Salcombe Estuary.
Cliff House can also accommodate meetings or conferences in a choice of two rooms and we have everything you should need from wireless broadband, multimedia projector, PA system and a large cinema screen.

Devon Coastal Cottages, are a niche Holiday Cottage booking agent based within the heart of South Devon.

The directors, Edward and Kim Willis, live and work in South Devon. Malborough Village Hall is located in the heart of the village of Malborough between the towns of Kingsbridge and Salcombe.

The Hall comprises of a main building, smaller Annexe with its own small kitchen and toilet and the outside area which includes a wide range of facilities all provided with you in mind!

In the main building: The facilities include a main hall (240m²) with an extending stage with theatre type services. It is marked out with a badminton court and is used for indoor bowls. The hall is licensed for 480 people or 250 if all are seated as for theatre. Alcohol may be served and consumed in the hall and annexe. There is an associated kitchen and bar service area which has been completely refurbished including a new large range cooker, water heater and cupboard and drawer units.The pictures accompanying this entry show the Hall prepared for a wedding with a marquee lining – doesn’t it look spectacular!

There is a smaller hall (52m²) or Annexe with its own small kitchen and toilet. Hire us for a business meeting and make use of the built in projector.

Outside the hall you can take part in a wide variety of activities.
There are large playing fields for football and cricket pitches. We also have two Tennis courts which can be hired at £4 per hour. Our children’s play area -rejuvenated in 2012/3 will keep most young people engaged for many hours – but just in case you need something more we have a superb skatepark to the side of the playing field.

We also cater for adults with our outdoor gym, all free to use and well maintained. If that all sounds too energetic you can take a leisurely stroll around the site to try your luck at bird spotting in the small wooded area.

We have standard parking for 38 cars with 2 disabled spaces directly adjoining the Hall and overflow parking is available for large events.
